Digital radiography systems for a wide range of NDT tasks

Vision in X offers various complete systems for digital inspection in accordance with standards and beyond. Based on the customer’s inspection requirements, the most suitable digital detector is used together with the manufacturer-independent control and evaluation software ISee! Professional, allowing integration with additional devices. The systems provide all the advantages of digital radiography, such as improved image quality, significant cost reduction, and a wide range of tools for digital image processing. This makes standard-compliant inspection more efficient and more economical.

ISee! Professional - the software for all industrial radiographic testing tasks

Our software platform ISee! Professional, developed specifically for the NDT sector, embodies almost thirty years of experience in the field of digital industrial radiology and provides high-quality image-processing algorithms as well as innovative display and measurement tools. It is modular, expandable, intuitive to operate, and applicable to virtually all tasks in industrial radiography in order to meet the customer’s specific requirements. ISee! Professional supports devices from various manufacturers.

VX PlusPunkt – for inspection in confined spaces

The mobile X-ray system VX PlusPunkt features an exceptionally compact X-ray head and is built in two easily transportable cases. The power station included in the set ensures an exposure time of up to 2 hours, independent of any external power supply. Of course, the system can also be connected to and operated from the mains. In this way, VX PlusPunkt offers an efficient alternative to isotope-based inspection, even in hard-to-access areas.

Digital radiography of tube-to-tubesheet welds with VX Exchanger

Thanks to our specialised digital detector and the rod-anode X-ray tube, VX Exchanger enables the inspection of tube-to-tubesheet welds entirely without film and, of course, without isotopes. The system requires only a small controlled area and offers significant cost savings as well as faster inspection compared with the traditional film-based method. With VX Exchanger, pores as small as 0.1 mm can be detected and 100% inspection coverage can be achieved – all without the use of hazardous materials.

VX Exchanger RT - low-volume tube-to-tubesheet weld inspection

VX Exchanger RT is a complete system specifically developed for radiographic testing of tube-to-tubesheet welds where access is available only from the tubesheet side. For inspection tasks with lower volume, where investing in a fully digital VX Exchanger XL system may not be cost-effective, VX Exchanger RT offers a solution that allows continued analogue operation using X-ray film or imaging plates.

VX Exchanger IBW for the inspection of inner bore welds in heat exchangers

Thanks to the use of a specialised X-ray tube, VX Exchanger IBW represents a superior alternative to isotope-based inspection of inner bore welds in heat exchangers. The costly and cumbersome handling of isotopes is eliminated, increasing inspection productivity, reducing process costs, and significantly improving image quality.

Custom Solutions

Some inspection tasks are highly individual and place specific requirements on the systems used. Vision in X offers universal or specially adapted systems, ranging from weld inspection and dimensional or wall-thickness measurement to specialised applications. Thanks to the manufacturer independence of ISee! Professional, a wide variety of system extensions are possible in order to meet specific customer requirements.
